Michigan State football hits the road for a second straight week and Indiana is awaiting the Spartans in Bloomington, looking to get back on track after a 2-3 start.

The Spartans are 6-0 and looking for some revenge for last season’s 24-0 loss to Indiana in East Lansing. Michigan State would improve to 7-0 heading into a bye week before a huge rivalry game with Michigan. Will the Spartans be able to tackle the Hoosiers in Bloomington?

Here’s what our writers think.

Connor Muldowney: This one is going to be a lot closer than people think. Indiana began the season ranked for a reason and Tom Allen has done a solid job lifting the Hoosiers to relevancy and they always seem to have Michigan State’s number, even in wins for the Spartans. I think this one goes down to the wire as Indiana’s defense will be tough. The Spartans will find a way to manufacture a late touchdown so Kenneth Walker III’s big game isn’t in vain.

Final Score: Michigan State 28, Indiana 24

Carter Landis: Indiana is banged up. They don’t have their starting quarterback. They can’t move the ball through the air or on the ground. They have a decent defense, but not good enough to stop all the weapons the Spartans have. Spartans tweak some mistakes from last week and roll in Bloomington.

Final Score: Michigan State 34, Indiana 10

Jack Williams: Indiana always racks up a high yardage total against Michigan State. With a backup quarterback in, I think the Hoosiers will dink and dunk more 5-10 yard passes than we’re accustomed to, which is already a high total. Fortunately, Cincinnati dropped 38 on Indiana and Iowa dropped 34 on them. Michigan State has a better offense than both of them — I think the Spartans will flirt with a 50-burger on Saturday.

Final Score: Michigan State 48, Indiana 34

Conner Linsner: Indiana has had a very mediocre season. Quarterback play is not what it used to be in Bloomington. Michigan State’s offense is red hot and will continue to stay hot this week on the road. With a bottom three defense in the Big Ten, I can’t see the Hoosiers keeping up with the Spartans.

Final Score: Michigan State 41, Indiana 28

Stephen Robb: At the beginning of the year, I thought this game would be tough for MSU to win. However now with Indiana not looking decent this season and they are without Michael Penix Jr., this is an easy call. MSU must be focused but they can win this game.

Final Score: Michigan State 35, Indiana 14
