2. Kenneth Walker III had a nice bounce-back game

Kenneth Walker III had his worst game of the season against Nebraska last week and he bounced back nicely against Western Kentucky despite not averaging a wild amount of yards per carry.

The Wake Forest transfer had his third 100-yard game and looked really good all night long despite not breaking any huge runs. He was shifty and made some patented cutbacks on his way to his third-highest rushing total of the season.

It’s nice to see how he responded from a rough game a week ago and the fact that he bounced back and doubled his production on a night when it seemed like a pass-heavy contest was impressive.

Walker III is now approaching 700 rushing yards on the season after his solid game on Saturday night and we should see more big contests from him moving forward.

He looked gassed at the end of the night, so let’s hope he still has some life in those legs for Rutgers next week.
