Saturday night’s Michigan State vs Nebraska game will be one of the most intriguing matchups of the weekend as the No. 20 Spartans will face off against the team that just gave No. 3 Oklahoma all it could handle in Norman.

The Cornhuskers have one of the top veteran quarterbacks in the Big Ten in Adrian Martinez who is coming off one of his best games in years. He’s a dual-threat like D’Eriq King was and if the Spartans are going to win this one to improve to 4-0 and continue to climb in the rankings, it’ll need to make him uncomfortable.

Payton Thorne, on the other hand, has been playing some great football and Kenneth Walker III is the nation’s leading rusher. Will the Spartans take care of the Cornhuskers in East Lansing?

Michigan State vs Nebraska Odds Week 4

The Week 4 betting odds on WynnBET have Michigan State as a 4.5-point favorite. The Spartans’ moneyline odds are -215 and Nebraska’s are +165. The over/under for this game is also set at 51.5 points.

Michigan State vs Nebraska Prediction Week 4

The “Stripe the Stadium” atmosphere will help provide the first truly hostile atmosphere at a home game in the Mel Tucker era. Spartan Stadium is going to be rocking on Saturday night and the players will feed off that.

Nebraska has had a head-scratching start to the year, losing to Illinois in Week 0 before beating Fordham and Buffalo by a combined score of 80-10. The Cornhuskers then held their own against Oklahoma on the road but we really don’t know what to expect from this team.

I think Michigan State is the better team and it’ll have the home-field advantage, but the Spartans can’t take this team lightly.

I see the Spartans coming away with a 30-20 win in East Lansing on Saturday night.
