For the first time in nine months, Saturday morning was graced with College GameDay and college football fans from around the country tuned in to start their day.

One of the best traditions of College GameDay is sign-watching. Fans who attend the event love to make creative signs that eventually make their way onto TV while those at home try to find the most creative and humorous signs.

Sometimes there’s a sign that ties in Michigan State football or athletics and it catches everyone by surprise.

Michigan State fans probably caught an interesting one this morning for the Week 0 kickoff as the cameras got a glimpse of a “Tuck Comin” sign behind Kirk Herbstreit’s head.

In case you don’t know what it means, it’s a phrase that has become relevant during Mel Tucker’s torrid stretch of recruiting. Basically, it means that Tucker’s success is coming.

The best part about this sign’s appearance on College GameDay? It was all the way down in Atlanta, Ga., as GameDay was in attendance at the location of the MEAC/SWAC Challenge between Alcorn State and North Carolina Central.

Even down in the state of Georgia, people know that Tuck is, in fact, comin’.

Sure, it was probably a Michigan State fan who lives down in Georgia or maybe ventured to Atlanta for vacation, but it’s still cool to see something like that on a national stage when East Lansing is hundreds of miles away.

Michigan State football opens the season next Friday

If this doesn’t get you excited about Michigan State’s 2021 kickoff next Friday at Northwestern, I don’t know what will.

For now, we’ll have to settle for watching Nebraska and Illinois.
