1. Michigan State pulls off another upset

I predicted a Michigan State upset of Illinois on Tuesday and you can bet that was met with plenty of mocking — until it actually happened.

Well, let’s keep the momentum going here.

Michigan State is going to pull off its second straight upset of a top-five ranked Big Ten opponent in East Lansing. This matchup might be a little tougher for the Spartans but it’s still a winnable game. The Spartans are going to get off to another strong start and take a slim lead into halftime.

The Spartans and Buckeyes will battle back-and-forth in the second half, but just like the Illinois game, Michigan State will have role players like Joey Hauser and Rocket Watts stepping up. When this happens, the Spartans are an incredibly difficult team to beat.

With five Spartans scoring in double figures and Liddell being held in check, Michigan State is going to be in prime position to pull off another upset.

A Michigan State team with nothing to lose is scary — just ask Illinois and Indiana.

MSU wins by three.
