2. Five Spartans score in double figures

This seems kind of crazy, right? Normally, I’d agree that a bold prediction like this is just unrealistic, but after guys like Joey Hauser, Gabe Brown and Rocket Watts gained confidence back against Illinois and even at Indiana, I wouldn’t be shocked if everyone got in on the offensive action.

Momentum is currently working in the Spartans’ favor on that end of the court. In fact, the past three halves have arguably been Michigan State’s best all season.

Michigan State has scored at least 35 points in three straight halves and at least 45 in two out of three. The Spartan offense has the ability to put up points but confidence had been lacking and execution was just as bad through the first half of Big Ten play. It was tough to watch.

But something seems to have clicked and if Watts, Hauser and Brown can play with confidence again, there may be no slowing this team down.

Aaron Henry and Josh Langford will reach double digits once again but I also see Watts, Hauser and Brown breaking the 10-point mark. If one of those guys don’t reach double figures, don’t sleep on Marcus Bingham Jr., Julius Marble or Malik Hall.

Five Spartans will reach double figures in the scoring column.
