Michigan State Basketball: How good would current all-Spartan NBA team be?

Warriors. PF. 41. Pick Analysis. PF. Draymond Green. player. Scouting Report

This one is a no-brainer because, well, Draymond Green is arguably the smartest player in the NBA. He knows the game in and out and he’s one of the best defenders the league has had over the past decade.

If you’re a casual fan of the sport, you’d look at his numbers and just assume that he’s not very good or he’s having a terrible year. He’s averaging 4.0 points, 6.6 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals in eight games this year and when he plays, the Warriors are just better. He does everything right and even though his offense hasn’t been there, he makes everyone around him better.

Draymond is averaging 8.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals over his career and the former NBA All-Star has future coach written all over him.

A current all-Spartan NBA team would be lucky to have Draymond acting as the glue in the post and making sure everyone is doing their jobs. He’d easily make the rest of the guys better because they already look up to him.
