1. Michigan State covers the spread again

With Michigan State shooting well from deep and Aaron Henry and Joey Hauser playing well at the same time, it’s going to be difficult for the Boilermakers to win this one.

I do believe Purdue will keep it close throughout and it may even be a back-and-forth battle throughout, but Michigan State is going to make clutch shots down the stretch to win by at least six points to cover the 4.5-point spread. This will be the second straight game in which the Spartans cover the spread at home against a tough foe.

As long as the Spartans contain Sasha Stefanovic, making sure he doesn’t go off from 3-point range, the offense could stall a bit. Also, making sure to play elite defense in the post again versus Trevion Williams will go a long way. Do both and this one may not be close.

Michigan State has momentum right now and is starting to believe in itself again and Purdue is fresh off two straight losses.

Give me Michigan State and the points.
