After a massive win over No. 13 Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan State football’s Twitter account did not hold back in its trolling.

Bragging rights are wild. You could be fresh off a loss to Rutgers, but it doesn’t matter when you face your biggest rival and pull off an unthinkable upset.

Michigan State was down — and I mean six feet under — after a loss to Rutgers in the season opener, but the Spartans put that forgettable defeat behind them and went to Ann Arbor and stole a win from No. 13 Michigan in the Big House.

No one gave Michigan State a chance to win on Saturday and Vegas had the odds anywhere between 21 and 25 points in favor of the Wolverines, making this the biggest upset of Michigan since Appalachian State in 2007.

Michigan fans were counting their win against the “down” Spartans under a new coaching staff before the game even started and it got them into some trouble.

If you didn’t want to be trolled by MSU football’s official Twitter account, you shouldn’t have trash talked them in the week leading up to the game, saying they had no chance to win Paul Bunyan back.

Legendary tweet alert:

This is the most petty tweet of all time and I absolutely love it. Michigan fans deserve it. They’ve been trashing “little brother” all week long and have knocked the Mel Tucker hire since last February and their team laid an egg against the Spartans. Their team full of four and five-stars and a former NFL head coach was out-coached, out-toughed and out-classed.

So maybe they’re right, little brother isn’t a title given to the loser of the game, but rather it’s a mindset.

Right now, Michigan has that mindset.
