Michigan State Football: Game-by-game predictions for 8-game schedule
After reaching .500, Michigan State has to host the best team in the conference and it’s not going to be pretty. Ohio State has everything a national title team needs and we’ll see that up close and personal in East Lansing on Dec. 5.
Justin Fields might be the best quarterback in the country and potentially the Heisman Trophy favorite at this point in the season and the Buckeye defense just reloaded.
I repeat, this game will not be pretty.
Final Score: Ohio State 42, Michigan State 14 (3-4)
Ending the season with two probably top-10 teams won’t be too kind on this young Michigan State team but it’ll definitely help for the coming seasons. We will really know how far this team has to come with this battle and the Ohio State game, but Penn State just has too many weapons for the Spartans to handle.
Sean Clifford will have a big game and Journey Brown will be a star in the backfield so expect the Penn State offense to go off against this young defense as the Spartans finish the season with a 3-5 mark.
Final Score: Michigan State 17, Penn State 35 (3-5)
