Jack Hoiberg and Foster Loyer, Slot Receivers

This would be a duo for the ages. Think Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola. I mean, where else would these two guys go?

Neither of them have the athletic ability to play running back, but we’ve seen quickness out of both of them. Step-back-Jack got his nickname from hitting a step back jumper against Ohio State, so he’d be an extremely shifty guy and get quite a few yards after the catch.

Loyer, on the other hand, would be a work ethic guy who sticks to his fundamentals. Like Amendola, he might be overlooked by his flashier counterpart, but he’d be just as important for the team. He’d be the guy who makes the tough catches and takes huge hits, but holds on to the rock regardless.

This comparison also had something to do with the fact that they’re both pint-sized dudes with not much athleticism to speak of.
