Which football positions would Michigan State basketball players line up at?

Mady Sissoko, Defensive End

I like to imagine Mady Sissoko would look something like Shawn Oakman on a defensive line. If you read a lot of Spartan Avenue, you’ve probably had to read about my fascination with Sissoko’s insane body. The guy is a freak of nature and could probably crush me into non-existence by accidentally stepping on me.

Even if he was an awful football player, he’d be an extremely scary guy to come up against and would be valuable during the coin toss. See Figure 1.

AJ Hoggard, Linebacker

Sorry you had to follow up Mady Sissoko, but someone had to. AJ Hoggard was actually one of the harder guys to give a position to on this list. I could see him being a running back, but I already gave that role to Rocket. I think he’d actually be best suited as a linebacker, as he is easily one of the biggest, most versatile guys on this team. He’d be strong enough to shed blocks, but still quick enough to drop back into coverage.
