Michigan State Football: New-look secondary could be problem for Big Ten

As I created this list of players, I almost forgot about Shakur Brown. But that’s the type of guy that he is. As soon as you forget about him, he’ll come out of nowhere with a highlight play. He’s the only guy on this list who wasn’t a four-star high school recruit. In fact, he wasn’t even ranked in the top 1,000.

Brown missed a lot of time last season with an injury, but had five pass breakups and an interception in the games he did play. He’s also known by many Spartan fans for his pick-six against Indiana in 2018.

This is another guy who could step up in the absence of Josh Butler and Josiah Scott. Don’t forget his name come game one in 2020, as he’ll be just as much a part of the new “No Fly Zone” as any other guy on this list.
