1. Cassius Winston stays hot, wills MSU to victory

Just like the rest of the team, Cassius Winston has been on fire lately and he went darn-near unconscious against Michigan on Sunday. He was hitting everything he threw up, finishing with a career-high 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting and had nine assists to go along with it. He became the first Big Ten player to ever reach 1,600 points and 800 assists.

It seems like he’s finally having fun again and that’s what Michigan State needs, especially with the Big Ten schedule getting tougher.

Winston will carry over Sunday’s performance into Thursday, scoring 25 points with eight assists and one turnover, taking over second place in the Big Ten scoring column. He’s the top scoring guard in the entire conference and second overall only to Luka Garza who is averaging a ridiculous 22.1 points per game.

The All-American point guard will continue to rise up the ranks and this will just be one of those games that will feel routine for Spartan fans, but look like a Naismith-caliber showing to casual observers.
