Michigan State football has had some elite wins over the past decade and these five have to top the list of the five best. Which win is No. 1?

What a decade it’s been for Michigan State football.

Although the decade has ended with a few disappointing seasons in 2016, 2018 and 2019, Michigan State has had an overall successful period under Mark Dantonio.

As head coach since 2007, Dantonio has been one of those rare coaches who has held that job for over a decade. He has drawn plenty of doubt in recent years, but overall he has had a successful run, winning 100-plus games at Michigan State and becoming the Spartans’ all-time winningest coach in 2019.

Michigan State went 6-4 against Michigan during the decade, 5-3 in bowl games, went to the College Football Playoff, won an epic comeback battle against Baylor in the Cotton Bowl, won the Rose Bowl, went to three Big Ten title games and won two and beat teams like Georgia, Oregon and Boise State out of conference.

The Spartans were also one of the only teams in the Big Ten to beat Urban Meyer during his time in Columbus — they did so twice.

With all of the success Michigan State has seen this decade, which five moments have to stand out above the rest as the greatest since 2010?
