2. Josiah Scott

Junior cornerback Josiah Scott is a special player and a potential first-round pick.

I’ve noticed in the past two games that teams are targeting him more and having a little bit of success.

In the first half of the Northwestern game, he got called for a penalty that kept their drive alive. However, he equally made an outstanding interception on the sidelines that enable the offense to get going.

Indiana is that team that is easy to sleep on and that has happened to MSU in the past. Scott will need to bring especially because both Hoosier quarterbacks are runners and he will have to be focused to not get burned by the run-pass option.

This is a good game for the Spartans because Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields has been lighting up secondaries. Michigan State needs a good game from Scott to shut down the potentially-explosive Hoosier offense.
