Michigan State basketball’s 2019-20 season schedule has been released. So let’s take a look at some key non-conference matchups.

With the release of the college basketball schedules last Friday, many fans are excited for the tip-off to the 2019-20 Michigan State basketball season.

Tom Izzo has outdone himself once again this season with his scheduling. Some of the non-conference games scheduled are absolutely amazing. He loves challenging his team early on in the season, during the non-conference schedule, because it will help his team learn and grow come later on in the season and when the madness begins in March. This is one reason why he has been so successful and this year is no different.

Within the first month of the season, the guys in green could square off against three of the top-six teams in the potential AP Top 25. These three teams could show Michigan State what the tournament in March is going to be like.

It will also show fans what the Spartans are truly made of and if they’re capable of being the No. 1 team in the nation.

Let’s take a look at these three opponents and what MSU will have to do in order to continue to stand at the top of the Top 25.
