Michigan State football has two potential All-Americans on the defensive side of the ball and this hype video perfectly illustrates just how special they are.

It’s that time of year again — it’s hype video season.

Michigan State football doesn’t have too much to get hyped about after a lackluster 2017 campaign, but the one positive about disappointing with a 7-6 finish is that it can only get better — yes, before the 3-9 jokes transpire, that was a major anomaly.

Mark Dantonio has turned the program around a few times before after mediocre .500-esque seasons and he could do so again with 17 returning starters in 2019.

Two of those returning starters are All-American material and could very well be selected on Day 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft. Joe Bachie and Kenny Willekes are close friends as well as some of the best defenders in all of college football.

So Brendan Bettelon decided to make a hype video to honor the two All-Big Ten selections while hyping fans up for the 2019 season — something that’s much needed. Let’s just say it turned out really well.

If that didn’t get you fired up to watch the Spartan defense in 2019, I don’t think you have a soul.

Bachie has had back-to-back 100-tackle seasons and Willekes is coming off his best season yet with 20.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks. These two combine to form one of the deadliest duos in all of college football and will give offensive linemen and ball-carriers nightmares.

The two All-Big Ten honorees will start their All-American campaigns on Aug. 30 against Tulsa.
