The last couple of times Michigan State and Indiana have met up, the Hoosiers have put up serious fights. The Spartans will have the upper-hand here, though, because this one will take place in East Lansing and the Spartans will be coming off a big road win over a ranked Northwestern team.

Indiana is a program on the rise but Brian Lewerke will have regained his confidence by this point in the season and the offense will finally be clicking for the first time since 2017.

Cody White will double down after gaining 150 yards the week before against Northwestern and the run game will top 200 yards against the Hoosiers, taking a load off Lewerke’s shoulders. The offense may come close to 40 points for the first time in the 2019 season, but not quite.

Defensively, Michigan State will get after Peyton Ramsey and swallow him up five times for sacks and pick him off twice. It’ll be a long day for the Hoosier offense like it was last season against these Spartans.

Final Score: Indiana 17, Michigan State 37 (5-0, 2-0)
