The 2019 NFL Draft is finally here and there are a handful of Michigan State football stars looking to get drafted. Where will the Spartans be selected?

Michigan State has the third-longest NFL draft selection streak of any program in college football. In fact, the Spartans have had at least one player selected in each draft since 1941, trailing only USC and Michigan and just ahead of Florida and Nebraska.

That streak will live on this year as the Spartans have two guys almost guaranteed to be selected in Justin Layne and Khari Willis with others such as LJ Scott and Felton Davis III who would have surely been drafted if they didn’t suffer injuries and miss extensive time during the 2018 season.

The Spartans add at least two more names to the list of players in the NFL to play for Mark Dantonio but there should be more.

As for the undrafted free agent market, Scott and Davis III may join that realm, but the Spartans have about five other guys who are looking to make an NFL roster this fall and will surely need to go that route.

Michigan State fans are gearing up to watch a handful of their former favorites have their name called starting Thursday night and extending through Saturday.
