3. Xavier Tillman’s clutch and-one dunk

If you’ve been one to knock Xavier Tillman’s tendency to go up for layups instead of going up strong for dunks, you were surely silenced after this play.

Michigan State held a one-point lead with about four minutes left. Duke had just given the ball back to the Spartans after coming up empty on a crucial possession and Cassius Winston decided to push the issue, seeing he had numbers.

Winston saw Tillman running the lane to his right, he made an incredible bounce pass through Duke defenders and the sophomore big man took two steps and slammed it home over Javin DeLaurier for a huge and-one which got the crowd on its feet.

This was the play that seemed to give Michigan State all the momentum and it felt like the Spartans would just hang on to win, but Duke came roaring back with a 7-0 run of its own. Still, a monster dunk by Tillman which sent the arena into a frenzy.
