4. Aaron Henry’s response was perfect

No, I’m not talking about his verbal response to the media regarding Tom Izzo’s coaching, but rather how effectively he played in the game to follow.

We all saw Henry improve near the end of the opening round win over Bradley after Izzo chewed him out and after he said he had no problem with the verbal altercation, everyone was curious to how he would respond against Minnesota.

How did he do? He had one of his best games of the season, scoring nine points to go along with nine rebounds and three assists — and he turned it over just once.

The freshman wing looked like a player possessed and ready to put all the media-conjured drama behind him as he looked like a veteran against the Gophers.

Izzo admitted after the game that Henry played one of his best games and he was impressed — enough so that he said he probably should have chosen him to come in to represent the players in the post-game presser.

Henry’s response was perfect and shut plenty of people up.
