Saturday night’s Michigan State vs Minnesota game will decide who heads to the Sweet 16 and who goes home. Here’s how you can watch online.

The Sweet 16 has been elusive for Michigan State in recent years. In fact, it’s been four years since the green and white last made the Sweet 16 and Tom Izzo is hungry to get back.

All you have to do as a college basketball team in the NCAA Tournament is win the weekend and the Spartans haven’t done that since 2014-15 when they last made a Final Four. Many believe this year’s team is different with more mental toughness than most in the Izzo era.

Minnesota stands in the Spartans’ way, though. The Golden Gophers caught fire in their first game of the tournament to upset Louisville and set up a rematch from about a month back when the Spartans won by 25. The Gophers will hope to catch the same fire from long-range in this matchup to beat a Michigan State team that won the Big Ten title.

No game is a given so the earlier matchup between the Spartans and Gophers doesn’t much matter and this one wipes the slate clean.
