Michigan State Basketball: 5 bold predictions for 2019 NCAA Tournament
By Nate Rhoades
1. Michigan State wins national title
This is obviously, the most bold of all the predictions: MSU will the national title. They have what it takes to win it all and they will put together a nice run to win the whole thing.
The Spartans have been able to figure out a way to win even through all of the adversity they have gone through this season. They have been without Josh Langford for quite some time, they have played without Ward for a bit and a key reserve is now out for the rest of the season — most likely — in Kyle Ahrens.
Lastly, they were given a No. 2 seed and put in Duke’s bracket when they should have been a No. 1 seed. All this team has done has gone through adversity. This team will beat Duke to get to the Final Four.
Michigan State will then knock off in-state Michigan rival for the fourth time to get to the championship game. Lastly, they will knock off Kentucky to bring home Tom Izzo’s second national championship and the school’s third.
They will not only win this championship but they will do this while beating all of their opponents by double digits.
