3. Spartans average only six turnovers per game

Turnovers have been an issue for these Spartans all season long as they’re averaging 13 turnovers per game. They have been the cause for a few losses this season such as Indiana (x2) and Illinois.

The Spartans turn the ball over and dig themselves into holes of which they cannot climb out.

They become too frantic and make bad passes and dumb mistakes. This gets Tom Izzo going and he will not let that happen in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. These turnovers cannot happen because they will lose one-and-done games when they turn the ball over.

Michigan State, though, will be a brand new team this tournament. They will average no more than six turnovers a game. This will let them have the ball for longer and be able to control the tempo of the game to what they want to play.
