2. Cassius Winston records double-double vs. Simpson

This could be the game that cements Cassius Winston into legendary status in terms of Michigan State players as he already went on the road to play one of his best career games in a big win over the Wolverines a couple of weeks back.

All he needs to do is put together a solid enough performance to give his Spartans a chance to win and he’ll be looked at as a hero. He’s going to do one better than that, though.

The junior point guard from Detroit knows that he can play with a guy like Zavier Simpson who had been incredible defensively before allowing 27 to Winston in Ann Arbor and he’s going to score in double figures again. This time, he’ll be a bit more tame with 15 points and a couple of 3-pointers to go along with 10 assists.

Winston is going to be a facilitator more than anything and he’s going to find his bigs streaking to the basket after he’s doubled on attempted picks.

Simpson, too, will have a decent game for the Wolverines, but for the second time this season, he’ll be out-dueled by a motivated Winston.
