1. Michigan State wins more than comfortably

The first meeting between Michigan State and the Buckeyes was decided by single-digits, but don’t expect the same on Sunday afternoon.

Michigan State is back to playing its style of basketball and that’s bad news for the rest of the Big Ten as the home-stretch is here. There are only six games left in the regular season and the Spartans know that if they want to take home the conference title, they’ll need to win out.

And yes, that means focusing in on games that should be sure wins such as a home contest against Ohio State. Every battle from here on out is crucial and they don’t need anymore trip-ups like they had against Indiana.

Don’t expect the Spartans to come out flat against the Buckeyes. Tom Izzo knows that anyone can beat anyone at any given time in conference play, and this team found that out the hard way against the Hoosiers and at Illinois just last week.

The Spartans race ahead by 10 at the half and extend the lead to 20 in the second half for their 12th conference win.
