Michigan State basketball is gearing up for a rematch with Ohio State on Sunday afternoon, but what can we expect from Part II of this season’s series?

Michigan State didn’t lose many games last year — just three in the regular season — but Ohio State accounted for one of those defeats. The Spartans got their revenge earlier this year with a win over then-ranked Ohio State by nine points in Columbus. Now, they have a chance to make it a season sweep with a win on Sunday afternoon.

That won’t be easy, especially with the Buckeyes playing angry — or potentially defeated — after a home loss to Illinois.

Don’t expect the Spartans to overlook the Buckeyes, even though they are struggling, like they did with Indiana at home a couple weekends back.

Let’s get bold ahead of Sunday afternoon’s rematch in East Lansing.

5. Aaron Henry hits double figures in scoring for second time

Coming off arguably his best game since he scored 12 against Maryland about a month back, Aaron Henry may have gained some momentum back.

The freshman hit a bit of a wall over the past few weeks, admitting that he needed to get his mojo back, and he did just that against Wisconsin, scoring eight points. Not only did he score eight, but he made a few mid-range jumpers from the top of the key which would be a great addition to his overall game.

Adding the mid-range game could be just what he needed to get back on track and develop his outside shot a bit more. He’ll carry that momentum over to Sunday’s game, scoring 11 points, including his first 3-pointer since Jan. 17 at Nebraska.

This could be the start of a special period of growth for the young wing from Indiana.
