1. Michigan State wins on last-minute 3-pointer

Everyone loves a good nail-biter and this one will fall under that category. The Spartans and Buckeyes didn’t exactly have a back-and-forth battle last season as Ohio State took a 12-point lead into halftime, thanks to an Andrew Dakich 3-pointer from half court, and extending on it in the second half, winning 80-64.

Winning in Columbus, in any sport, is a tough task. The Buckeyes have just one loss this season and they’re playing as well as anyone in the Big Ten. That alone makes this an almost impossible task for the Spartans, but they, too, are red-hot heading into Saturday’s battle.

This one won’t be as lopsided as last year’s game in Columbus as this team will be much more prepared for what the Buckeyes will be throwing at them — and there’s no Keita Bates-Diop to worry about.

Michigan State and Ohio State will have one of the best back-and-forth battles from around college basketball this season — sorry, the Spartans won’t finish with another double-digit Big Ten victory.

Down by one with 55 seconds left, Cassius Winston will hit a big three to give MSU the lead and the Spartans won’t look back, making a stop at the other end.
