3. Beat Michigan

Losing two times in as many opportunities with Tom Izzo’s “most talented team ever” in 2017-18, Spartan fans had to hear how John Beilein is a better coach and Michigan is the better program.

There’s no doubting Michigan has been one of the best programs in the country over the past few years, but Michigan State has more pride than to just roll over and allow the Wolverines to run the state in what has always been known as the Spartans’ best sport.

Izzo will have his guys ready in 2018-19 and the guys returning hate the feeling of watching Michigan celebrate the big rivalry wins and they’ll get their opportunity at revenge late in the season.

Michigan State fans would be lying if they said they don’t care about beating Michigan but rather winning the Big Ten only. This wish has to be on everyone’s list after losing three straight to the Wolverines by double-digits.

It’s been a rough stretch for the Spartans, but two wins over Michigan and maybe another in the conference tournament would cure the blues.
