Michigan State’s 25 wishes list continues today and will run over the next three-plus weeks. What is the No. 23 wish for all Spartan fans?

Here is wish No. 23 on our Michigan State fan wish list as we count down to wish No. 1.

Wish No. 23

Michigan State’s men’s basketball team will go undefeated in the month of December

Many Spartan fans were not happy about Michigan State’s mistakes near the end of regulation and overtime for Tom Izzo and his team and it resulted in a loss on the road to Louisville in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

The earlier loss in the season to then-No. 1-ranked Kansas was more understandable to many Spartans fans but the loss to the Cardinals not so much. The month of December early on will provide two tests once again for Michigan State but if the Spartans can get two wins this week, they should be undefeated in the month of December.

Playing at home against No. 14 Iowa, who was undefeated prior to Friday’s home loss to fellow ranked Big Ten foe Wisconsin, should be not be an easy victory but Spartan fans should expect a win at home against the Hawkeyes.

Then Michigan State travels down south to Gainesville, Fla., to take on the Gators. Florida has three losses on the season so far but they are still a formidable opponent. Like Iowa, the green and white faithful should expect the Spartans to win. If Michigan State can beat both the Hawkeyes and the Gators, then they will have a very high probability of fulfilling this wish for Spartan fans by going undefeated in December.

Michigan State has to win five games in December to go undefeated in the month. Three of those games are almost guaranteed victories with the other two being very winnable games but there is a chance for a loss and that is why it is wish No. 23 on my list.

However, wish No. 24 of playing in a bowl game in Florida did not com true for Spartan fans and the green and white faithful will be hoping for their third wish to come true. However, playing in California on New Year’s Eve against Oregon is not bad in comparison.
