Eight whole days after facing Florida, the Spartans will head back to East Lansing for what should be a cakewalk against the Green Bay Phoenix.

The Phoenix are 5-3 on the season with two losses that aren’t so terrible. They lost to Oregon and Iowa by 11 points each and the third loss was by four points to Indiana State. Green Bay can put up some points and scored 82 against the Hawkeyes.

Can Michigan State’s defense shut the Phoenix down? They have hit 100 points twice this season and have scored at least 80 in each of their five victories.

The Phoenix have two guys in Sandy Cohen III and JayQuan McCloud who average in double figures and the rest of the roster is relatively balanced in scoring, but they’re not going to be able to slow the Spartan offense. On top of that, the Spartans are going to dominate the boards in a big way.

Michigan State will need to step up on defense in this one and having Matt McQuaid back will certainly help matters.

Final Score: Green Bay 70, Michigan State 89 (9-2)
