Michigan State Holiday Wish List 2018: Wish No. 24 for Spartan fans

Michigan State’s 25 wishes list continues today and will run over the next three-plus weeks. What is the No. 24 wish for all Spartan fans?

Here is wish No. 24 on our Michigan State fan wish list as we count down to wish No. 1.

Wish No. 24

Michigan State’s football team will earn a spot in a bowl game down in Florida

Many Spartan fans were irritated that Michigan State was pick to play in the Holiday Bowl as opposed to either the Citrus or Outback Bowls in Florida last year after a nine-win regular season with only two losses in Big Ten play. However, this season with only seven regular season victories and four Big Ten losses, the Spartans have a good chance of playing in a bowl game down in Florida.

As our very own Connor Muldowney wrote, even though it is complicated and things can change, Michigan State has a good chance to make it to a bowl game in Florida to end their season. He is not the only one, SI.com has Michigan State playing Mississippi State in the Outback Bowl and CBS Sports has Michigan State playing Texas A&M in the Outback Bowl.

Michigan State in the above scenarios are not guaranteed by any stretch of the imagination to make the Outback Bowl and that is why it is wish No. 24 on my list.

However, wish No. 25 came true for Spartan fans and the green and white faithful will be hoping for their second wish to come true as well.
