Michigan State’s 25 wishes list begins today and will run over the next three-plus weeks. What is the No. 25 wish for all Spartan fans?

This will be a daily series of hypothetical wishes of Spartan fans for any Michigan State athletic program or team. It will start with some minor wishes, then it will lead up to the most thought about theoretical wishes of Spartan fans.

This is a general wish list and every wish may not be on every Spartans list but for the first 25 days of December, in the spirit of the holidays, I will attempt my best to pick out the best and most popular wishes for the green and white faithful.

Without further ado, here is wish No. 25 as we count down to wish No. 1.

Wish No. 25

Michigan State’s men’s soccer team makes it to the Final Four with a win over James Madison in the Elite Eight.

The last time the men’s soccer team reached the Final Four was back in 1968 when they were co-national champions with Maryland. I know that college soccer is not popular but you have enough Spartan fans who are excited about the opportunity of its soccer team making it to the college soccer Final Four.

The Spartans play at 5 p.m. at home as the Red Cedar Rowdies, the Michigan State student section, will be out in full force cheering on the team at DeMartin Stadium. The first 200 MSU students will get in free so they will be there early ready to get the team hyped up and ready to take on the Dukes of James Madison.

Michigan State will lean on their all-star Giuseppe Barone and their stellar goaltender Jimmy Hague. This wish has a good chance of coming true, but we shall see.
