Sunday night’s Michigan State vs FGCU game in East Lansing will be one to keep an eye on as the Spartans look for revenge. Here’s how to watch.

Losing to Kansas in the opener was tough for No. 10 Michigan State, but the Spartans must have a short-term memory as they’ll turn right around and take on the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles in East Lansing just five days later.

This is good news for Tom Izzo and Co. because you know they want to make up for that opening night loss against the No. 1 team in the country where the offense struggled in the first half and came together in the final 20 minutes to nearly complete an incredible comeback.

Florida Gulf Coast is the favorite to win the Atlantic Sun Conference again after winning 23 games a season ago. They’ll be under the direction of a new head coach and the Eagles have a handful of transfers into the program as well. The new-look Eagles have the talent, but are they cohesive enough yet?

Michigan State desperately needs this game to get on track in the month of November and the Spartans will rely heavily on Nick Ward, Cassius Winston and Josh Langford.
