1. Ohio State repays the favor, wins on last-second field goal

Ohio State hasn’t forgotten. Urban Meyer watched helplessly as Michael Geiger and the Spartans lined up for a 41-yard field goal with just seconds remaining in Columbus back in 2015. He nailed it, windmilling off the field as Connor Cook and Co. shushed the crowd with taunts.

The Buckeyes will repay the favor this season, nailing a 35-yarder to win the game with no time remaining and it’ll be Ohio State taunting the Spartan Stadium crowd.

Unfortunately, this will officially end the Spartans’ Big Ten East hopes as well as any chance for a Rose Bowl berth and it’ll knock the team down a peg in terms of bowl positioning.

Still, there are two games left and Michigan State will be able to win eight games this season, which surpasses the expectations following a rough 4-3 start.

A healthier Michigan State team could be back contending for the Big Ten in 2019, but the Buckeyes have their sights sets on the playoff and a showdown with the Wolverines.
