Michigan State Basketball: Game-by-game predictions for 2018-19

Feb. 24: at Michigan
Michigan State runs out of gas against their in-state rival. Many Spartan fans may be looking forward to getting a win over the Wolverines but Michigan State hits a wall and has a horrible shooting night leading to a 13-point loss.
Prediction: Loss (23-5, 14-3)
March 2: at Indiana
As the old saying goes, when it rains it pours. Even after a great week of practice, Michigan State receives karma and Indiana gets its revenge as Kyle Ahrens misses a wide-open three as time expires.
Prediction: Loss (23-6, 14-4)
March 5: vs. Nebraska
The Cornhuskers at this point of the season are looking to secure the fourth seed in the Big Ten Tournament. The Spartans, after two straight loses, comes out on fire beyond the 3-point line and shock many as they beat Nebraska by 22 points.
Prediction: Victory for MSU (24-6, 15-4)
March 9: vs. Michigan
The showdown between the first and second-place teams in the Big Ten. Indiana, after losing its last two games, slides to third place. Entering the game, if Michigan wins they win the Big Ten regular season outright, however, the Spartans play their best game of the season as it looks like nothing can go wrong. Michigan State wins by 16 points which shocks the maize and blue in attendance at the Breslin Center. The seniors go out and style as the Spartans share the Big Ten title.
Prediction: Victory for MSU (25-6, 16-4)
