2. Run game surpasses 200-yard mark

With or without LJ Scott, the run game will get back on track. However, I do believe the senior running back will find his way back onto the field for this one and he’s going to have himself a decent game, approaching the century mark against a lackluster defensive front.

As long as the offensive line handles Central like it should, Scott and Co. will have no trouble surpassing the 200-yard mark on the ground.

While Scott will have himself a big game, Connor Heyward will chip in 60 yards, La’Darius Jefferson will hit 40 and we may even see some of Weston Bridges — not sure why we haven’t yet. This quad of backs will have a big game and potentially approach the 250-yard mark as a unit.

Just when you thought the run game was dead, Mark Dantonio will call for some “pound, green, pound” and get the big guys up front working hard again.

Not a bad day for the backs as they’ll average over 5.0 yards per carry as well.
