Michigan State football opens the 2018 season as one of the favorites to win the Big Ten. Here’s why the Spartans might do just that.

Michigan State was in the Big Ten’s gutter for a season and it looked like the trend might continue after suffering through some off-field problems which saw some of the top up-and-coming players get booted from the team. The locker room was a mess, but it didn’t take long for guys to step up and become leaders on and off the field.

The Spartans can capture their second Big Ten title in the past four years, and here’s why.
