Michigan State Football: Josiah Price signed by Minnesota Vikings
Former Michigan State football tight end Josiah Price was let go by the Minnesota Vikings last week, but they re-signed him shortly after.

Though the Vikings didn’t sign him to the active roster and he didn’t play a snap with the team during his rookie year in 2017, Price got his foot in the door with a solid franchise.
The former Spartan tight end was let go by the Vikings earlier this offseason, but the team decided to pick him right back up on Sunday.
Minnesota now has three former Spartans on the roster following Price’s re-signing, but he will have to fight for a spot on the active roster this fall. He’s not guaranteed a spot and will need a big preseason to prove his worth.
He’s the ideal size for a tight end, standing 6-4 and weighing in at about 250 pounds, according to the team website, but he needs to show he can be a complete player — blocking duties included.
At Michigan State, his weakness was blocking, so if he can master that, his hands and athleticism are good enough to keep him in the league for a while.
Price will join Trae Waynes and Kirk Cousins in Minnesota and he could potentially be catching passes from the former Michigan State star in the near future.
