Michigan State football is entering the 2018 season with sky-high expectations. Which Spartans could be named first-team All-Big Ten?

Entering the  2017 season, Michigan State had a lot of question marks and uncertainty. No one was sure how the season was going to unfold, let alone what players were going to step up and emerge. Entering the 2018 season, the situation could not be more different. The foundation is solid, talent is abundant, and the future is bright.

Michigan State arguably returns more talent than any other team in the nation. The Spartans have impact players across the board at almost every position. Because of all this talent, there are quite a few players that are strong candidates to be named to All-Big Ten first-team in 2018. Still, not everyone can actually be given that honor despite being worthy of it, talent-wise.

Here is a look at the players that have the best chance to snatch the honor, followed by players that could just miss out due to various different reasons, which will be detailed.
