Michigan State football and head coach Mark Dantonio were disrespected yet again, this time by Jason Whitlock and Colin Cowherd.

When will the disrespect end? It may never, but that’s just fine with Mark Dantonio and Michigan State football who were once again subjected to ridicule by the national media.

Jason Whitlock and Colin Cowherd have a show called Speak For Yourself which airs on FOX Sports 1 and they decided to talk about the state of the Michigan football program under Jim Harbaugh.

There was plenty of back-and-forth between the two, calling Harbaugh eccentric and stating how his time at Michigan so far has been a failure, but he still has time to prove himself. Three years in, he hasn’t accomplished the goals he set out for himself, so he has been a disappointment thus far.

While that seems like a true statement with plenty of fairness, Whitlock and Cowherd went on to say that Urban Meyer and Ohio State own him, but Harbaugh has a chance to be a top-tier coach.

They also stated that Michigan State’s recruiting was “in the tank” and fans across the Big Ten, outside of OSU, would rather have Harbaugh as their coach than who they currently have.

Oh yeah, and they mispronounced Dantonio’s name — yet again.

Just watch:

Those are seven minutes of your life you will never get back and it was an ill-advices, back-and-forth debate about Harbaugh on the verge of greatness at Michigan while throwing shade at MSU.

Whitlock called Michigan State “little brother” to Michigan which is a term that has been embraced by some Spartan fans because sometimes little brother is just better. Still, this is the national media not knowing facts before starting a debate while throwing a program that has been arguably second to only Ohio State in the Big Ten over the past decade under the bus.
