Michigan State Football: Vegas’ projected win total is almost disrespectful
Las Vegas released its projected win totals for each team in 2018 and Michigan State football wasn’t given much respect.
Mark Dantonio performed a miracle in 2017. Not many coaches can go 3-9 in their 10th season as a program’s head coach and then turn around to lead that same team to 10 wins the next year. No, the 2016 season wasn’t planned, but the Spartans found a way to turn things around quickly thanks to an increase in team chemistry.

Returning 19 starters in 2018, the Spartans have high expectations are are considered one of the top Big Ten title contenders.
However, Vegas doesn’t exactly agree.
If Michigan State is looking for a fresh batch of disrespect, it doesn’t have to look any further than Las Vegas which released projected win totals for each college football team in 2018
Yes, that’s Michigan State all the way down there on the same level as Mississippi State (new coach), Florida (new coach), Louisville (loss of Heisman quarterback) and NC State. The Spartans are right behind the likes of Michigan, Miami, Notre Dame, Florida State and Auburn.
We get it, Vegas is in the business of making money, so once people start taking the over on the Spartans, the numbers may see a change.
Michigan State was one of the youngest teams in college football last season and still managed to win 10 games. Bring back 19 starters and Vegas only projects you to finish with 7.5? That’s disrespectful.
