Michigan State Basketball: Score predictions vs. Indiana in Week 13
Michigan State has a chance to make a statement on the road against Indiana on Saturday night. Can the Spartans avoid an upset versus the Hoosiers?
Just how good is Michigan State? That’s the question everyone is asking now that the Spartans’ two best wins, North Carolina and Notre Dame, now don’t look so great. Winning a road game against Indiana convincingly would be a good eye-opener, though.

The Spartans must avoid falling behind early against the Hoosiers at Assembly Hall because that place can be the death of red-hot visiting teams. Can the Spartans stave off an upset and win their sixth straight game?
Michigan State has a chance to make some noise in Bloomington with a big win on Saturday night.
Connor Muldowney: It won’t be easy and it might just take the full 40 minutes, but Michigan State is going to head home on Saturday night with a solid road win over Indiana. The Hoosiers are tough to beat at home and Miles Bridges and Co. know that. The sophomore sensation will put the team on his back and score in bunches while Cassius Winston will be a key facilitator, taking care of the ball, all game long. Juwan Morgan may give the Spartans fits, but Nick Ward and Jaren Jackson Jr. will do the same to the Hoosiers.
Final Score: Michigan State 77, Indiana 72
Michael Briggs: MSU handled the Hoosiers 85-57 in East Lansing a few weeks ago, but winning at Assembly Hall will be a challenge — especially if the Spartans get out to another slow start and turn the ball over. Considering these issues, I’m expecting a close game. That said, while I might typically predict an upset, the unique circumstances have me leaning towards a close MSU win. Michigan State certainly won’t be tuning in to the broadcast, but I have an inkling that the Spartans will be an inspired bunch knowing that they will be on ESPN. Miles Bridges will show off some serious “game” and lead the Spartans down the stretch to an important win.
Final Score: Michigan State 75, Indiana 69
Adam Zdroik: I’m not sure why Michigan State is favored by so much since Indiana will probably jump up to a big lead with the Spartans needing a comeback. Juwan Morgan will have a better game this time around and this will be close most of the way.
Final Score: Michigan State 79, Indiana 75

Stephen Robb: It’s been a tough year for the Hoosiers. Their first-year coach, Archie Miller, is in a rebuilding mode and it’s something IU fans are not used to — Indiana is on a three-game losing skid. Michigan State comes to Bloomington and even though the Spartans are turnover-prone, this game could get ugly. It appeared that Indiana ran out of gas against Ohio State due to two tough games against Illinois and Purdue. Coach Tom Izzo appeared more resolute and focused in recent interviews. Turnovers are something that can be cleaned up.
Final Score: Michigan State 79, Indiana 63
