Tyson Smith, a sophomore cornerback, revealed on Twitter that he suffered a stroke last season and he’s not even “supposed” to be walking or talking.

Smith is looking toward a better 2017 season in which he might be competing for a starting cornerback job. With Vayante Copeland struggling last season and Josiah Scott still learning the defense, the former top cornerback recruit has a chance to push for major playing time as a junior.
