Michigan State Football: Riley Bullough inks deal with Buccaneers
Former Michigan State football captain Riley Bullough has signed a three-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, Riley Bullough joins a large group of former Michigan State football players who signed deals with teams as free agents. The rookie contracts are never lucrative for undrafted free agents, but Bullough got a nice chunk of cash.

The former Spartan middle linebacker signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the same team that Will Gholston is starring with, for three years and over $1.6 million, reportedly.
That’s not too shabby for a guy who went seven full rounds without hearing his name called and that might mean he has more than a legitimate chance of making the team out of training camp.
Although he was undrafted and had a disappointing senior campaign, Bullough follows his older brother’s footsteps to the NFL as an undrafted free agent and Max has caught on with the Houston Texans — Riley could very well do the same.
The 6-foot-0, 226-pound middle linebacker from Traverse City really broke out as a junior and was expected to have a monster senior season, but took a slight step back. He missed three games and got booted from one in the first half due to multiple personal fouls. He did record 10-plus tackles in four games, though.

Tampa Bay got itself a physical linebacker who has the tools to be successful, he just has to remain focused and level-headed. Bullough might just be another success story under Mark Dantonio to make it big in the NFL.
