Four-star 2017 signee Antjuan Simmons predicts a big Michigan State football career for early enrollee teammate Josiah Scott.

If you’re like most Michigan State football fans, you may find it tough to get excited for the 2017 season after the lackluster 2016 campaign. The Spartans finished 3-9 and missed a bowl bid for the first time in the Mark Dantonio era, but the current players swear a turnaround is coming.

One guy who could be a star in the green and white a couple years down the line is Antjuan Simmons. The four-star linebacker from Ann Arbor was originally committed to Ohio State before re-opening his recruitment and picking the Spartans. He is as athletic as they come at the linebacker position.

Well, even he is impressed with a current early enrollee. Although he’s not at all the practices witnessing Josiah Scott perform, he has been on campus to visit unofficially and may have watched his future teammate show off. He took to Twitter to predict big things for the three-star cornerback from Fairfield, Ohio.

The original tweet that Simmons is quoting is a video of Darqueze Dennard that lists all of his accomplishments such as first-round pick, All-American and Thorpe Award winner. Another interesting tidbit is the fact that Hunter Rison (a fellow early enrollee like Scott) responded with “he up to something fosho.”

People are taking note of the potential of Scott early on and if two big-time talents are predicting big things for an underrated recruit, the praise likely has some substance to it.
