On Tuesday, he addressed the case and stated that when the time is right, he will be able to answer any questions the media has for him. However, right now he’s going to be reserved and let the case pan out.

Here’s the official statement from Dantonio:

From every standpoint, it looks as if Dantonio has followed the right steps in bringing this case to the university’s attention and asking for a formal investigation. He has handled everything properly, but he’s closing off spring practice to the media in order to block out distractions for his team.

Dantonio stated how he wants to uphold the integrity that he’s worked so hard to instill in the program since taking over 11 years ago and keeping the media circus out of practice is the best way to keep his players focused and level-headed.
