A handful of Michigan State Football players bonded over a music video they made to the rap track ‘Wicked’ by Future.

For the past few seasons, Michigan State Football players have chosen a song to be the official locker room celebration tune after a win. Two years ago during the Rose Bowl season, it was ‘Type of Way’ by Rich Homie Quan.

The song of 2015 wasn’t really set in stone or as memorable as the Rich Homie Quan rap in 2013, but there might be a new post-game dance craze with ‘Wicked’ by Future.

Recently, a few Spartan football players got together to make a fun offseason music video which was basically just them dancing to the rap. This is the type of offseason bonding that can bring a team together in the long run and it’s also pretty entertaining to watch.

Junior running back Gerald Holmes, sophomore cornerback Vayante Copeland, senior receiver R.J. Shelton and special teams hero Jalen Watts-Jackson all starred in the video.

Obviously there was no singing involved from the players so they didn’t technically ‘make’ a music video, but it was very well-made and the dancing was entertaining. These guys are having fun even in the dog days of summer/fall camp and they’re not letting the daily grind of on-field play keep them down.

A big year looms for each of those players as their roles will likely increase and after big wins, we might just hear this song payed in the locker room.
