The hype surrounding Michigan State freshman Miles Bridges’ athleticism is real judging by this incredible vertical leap.

Losing Denzel Valentine, Deyonta Davis, Matt Costello and Bryn Forbes might be crushing for Michigan State’s chances at a national title if the incoming recruiting class wasn’t one of the best in school history. One player who is packing the most excitement has to be five-star forward Miles Bridges.

The entire nation got to see just what he could bring to the table in the McDonald’s All-American game a few months back, but now that he’s on campus at Michigan State, already enrolled, he’s giving Spartan Nation an exclusive glimpse into what they’ll be seeing this year.

According to Bridges’ Twitter, the Spartans participated in a vertical leap test this week and it’s safe to say the Flint-native crushed the competition.

Clearly the incoming freshman is going to be part of some incredible alley-oops this season and may just be the most athletic player Tom Izzo has ever had — surpassing Jason Richardson and Shannon Brown.

There’s plenty to be excited for in the upcoming season with guys like Eron Harris, Gavin Schilling, Tum Tum Nairn and Matt McQuaid returning, but the additions of Ben Carter, Bridges, Josh Langford, Nick Ward and Cassius Winston bring a whole new level of intrigue.

If Bridges can jump this high during games, there’s no reason he won’t grab about seven rebounds per game to go along with three highlight dunks.
